SOOMATIC is a reusable set of standalone, cohesive and decoupled software components written in EXEmeL (www.exemel.org) that can be translated to any standard programming language as well as integrated into any project. These components can used singly as well as joined togheter to form complex behaviours.
SOOMATIC defines and implements abstract computational models that are thought to be simple as the construction kits we used when we were children. These models work around concepts like separation of concerns, reusability, self containment, interfaceability, portability and scalability.
SOOMATIC components can communicate efficiently through networks, direct code access (when running into the same memory process) as well as through alternative events and data streams so that they can be used without problems to create distributed architectures with automatic computational clustering capabilities.
